We are winning with Wings CBD
Everyone is talking about the benefits of CBD (Cannabidiol). As parents to special needs children we are paying extra attention because we are hearing particular benefits including better sleep, improved behaviors, reducing and stopping seizures. This sounds like music to our ears but where do we begin?
Luckily, I didn’t have to look any further than our very own Angelman community.
Wings tinctures are a customized full-spectrum hemp formula created by a fellow Angel Mama, Shari Perkins!
I got the chance to chat with Shari on a Facebook live call which I broadcasted on the Angleman Today Facebook page. I wanted to get a better understanding of the exploding industry of CBD and how she decided to create her own.
Her inspiration came from her daughter Elizabeth. Like my son Nathan, Elizabeth was born with Angelman Syndrome. A rare neuro-genetic condition. Shari searched for ways to try and improve her condition. She started researching hemp extracts and discovered how effective certain cannabinoids and terpenes could be for certain issues.
She started to notice improvements in Elizabeth’s communication, motor skills, and sleep. This ignited Shari’s passion to formulate her own tinctures.
I truly enjoyed talking to Shari and learning more about CBD. It is a very popular supplement right now and we as parents have to do our research about everything we give our kids.
One thing I learned in my conversation with Shari is that we both believe our success should be shared.

Please speak about administration. Do you squirt it directly into their mouth? Add to liquid or food etc?
Angelman Today
It is a small amount. You can give it directly or put it in food like applesauce or yogurt.
